How do I ensure automated workflow tasks only fall on business days?

1) Go to Setup » company details » Business hours » Choose the business days as Monday to Friday as in the screenshot below:



2) When you Assign a task via workflow rules, set the due date criteria based on business days. This will ensure that the task due does not fall on a weekend. See below:
