Leads Concepts in Zoho CRM - Junk or Inactive Leads
If a lead declines to have any more contact with us, I take it we change the status of the lead to junk lead?
> Correct. Note you can change the wording in the Lead Status field to whatever you choose.
What happens to the information and data of that junk lead after?
> It will stay in the CRM, including communications, notes, attachments. It is not deleted in any way. The only thing that will separate it from the 'active' leads is the Lead Status, meaning you can filter it out when looking at a View of 'active' leads, or when mass emailing 'active' leads.
Also can we assign a lead that has a status of contact in future to automatically come as a task to contact in say 12 months?
> Yes. It is possible to create a workflow task to automatically appear 12 months later and send a reminder via email to the Lead owner.
